Our personal experiences in Bed & Breakfasts around Texas have informed our idea of comfort away from home. Having noted how ellusive privacy can be, we make it our primary concern, though we believe the comfort level of BirdSong to be well above average as well.
Bedroom
The bedroom area, pictured above, is simple and functional. A queen size bed with a quality mattress, pristine bed-clothes and pillows help you to sleep in health and peace. An antique wardrobe serves as closet space.
Sitting Area
The sitting area is a cozy and intimate setting perfect for two to talk or read while reclining in wing-back chairs. Watch one of the complimentary films from our library of classics or bring your own favorites. The entertainment system includes TV, VHS, DVD and CD players. For the more buisness-oriented individual, there is a small office area including a desk and phone. We also have DSL internet for those who need to stay connected.
Dining Area
The dining area features a simple, intimate table for two with an optional third chair. Candles sit ready for your special moments and the table setting is perfect for any dining experience.
Kitchen
The kitchen is simple so as to eliminate stress during your retreat. A stove top, microwave, coffee pot and refrigerator are at your disposal. The kitchen is fully stocked with your personal favorites. See reservations for more information.
Bathroom
The bathroom, complete with a roomy shower and a jetted tub, is the envy of our home. With all the cozy colors, scented candles, and private views, you may just what to linger here.
Outdoor Living Areas
As is evident to the passer-by, outdoor living is our passion. The grounds are covered with sprawling gardens and BirdSong is punctuated with an airy front porch and cozy deck furnished for idling. In the back gardens, under a shady, old pecan tree, you will find a fire pit, swings, chairs and a hammock. True to our name, birds sing here regularly.
